love you for the rest of mine.”
As a mother to 3 boys, I thought this was great advice!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have two young sons (and a daughter) and they all pose their own unique challenges! Now I just hope they listen (and learn from my mistakes)
DeleteSo I came over to this one right after reading your advice to your daughter. This one is just as awesome, maybe better. I have a 19 year old son (in college) and this advice is never more important, for him, than right now. You have to start imparting early and often because once they move away, it's all them. One important thing for both genders is that they can/will talk to you (ongoing).
ReplyDelete"The right thing and the easy thing are seldom the same thing". So true. All of this is important stuff.
You haven't posted since September? Write more, please!
I don't know how you do it - I can't ever imagine them moving away (although having them out of the house for a few hours is a nice break!). I hope they will talk to me ongoing and I hope that I am smart enough to allow them to do so without judging too harshly (and unfairly). Thank you again for the kind words.
